Pottery & Stained Glass
For pottery, we throw it, you design and make it your own. Whether you come alone or as group these workshops are great fun and are a new kind of Team Building opportunity or just pure family fun! Pottery Workshops include: Thrown piece (basic form), clay, tools, glazes & paints, firing and finished product.
For stained glass, we provide the pattern and all the supplies and tools. You will cut, grind, foil and solder, creating your beautiful project.
January Workshop
Mosaic Glass Luminary
Cost: $60
You bring your own picture, 5 1/2" h x 15" w. We will take that picture, snip the glass, lay it on the picture, then attach it to the jar!
Option 1: Tuesday, January 6th from 11 am - 1 pm.
Option 2: Saturday, January 10th from 11 am - 1 pm.
February Private Stained Glass Workshop
Cost: $65
This is a private stained glass class. This group has cut once before with Club Mud and decided they wanted to do another project.
They saw on the project above and are making this as a group. So fun!
Dates: February 10th from 6 - 9 pm and February 17th from 6 - 9 pm.
You will foil you project at home prior to returning on February 17th.

for a small group of 3-6 people.

I will work with you to create a stained glass pattern for your groups ability level.
I will work with you to schedule the dates and times for the workshop.
Depending on the pattern and the size of the project, most workshops require 9 hours, which we divide into 3 days @ 3 hours per day. (Day 1: cut pattern and glass) (Day 2: grind glass and learn to foil - you do your foiling at home) (Day 3: Solder and clean your project)
The cost will depend upon the size of the pattern.
In the past a 10" x 10" project (either square or round) would cost $75 per person. This would include instruction, shop time, all tools, and supplies such as studio glass, foil and solder.
If you need specialized glass, you can purchase that yourself. I would suggest either Western Art Glass where you can stop in and select the glass you want @ 2345 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 (http://www.westernartglass.net) or Delphi Glass Supplies where you would order on line and it would ship to you ( http://www.delphiglass.com ).
